The University Club has multiple rooms available for rental for meetings, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, conferences, and retreats. Our largest, west coast inspired, room can accommodate up to 200 guests for sit down occasions and 300 guests for standing receptions. The Club also has a variety of break out rooms and a private patio perfect for your next event!
main dining room
The Main Dining Room鈥檚 stunning modern west coast design provides a natural event theme for many event planners. The rooms exterior walls maximize window space to allow for natural light and views into the pond and forest surrounding this one-of-a-kind space. This room has hosted a vast array of events including dinner dances, weddings, receptions, conferences, seminars and reunions. The Main Dining Room can accommodate up to 250 guests.
wild rose room
The Wild Rose Room offers a wall of natural lighting and view to an interior sculpture garden.聽 It can be rented out on it’s own or with the Main Dining Room for extra space. This is an elegant meeting space that is also used for lunch and dinner meetings and as dance space. The Wild Rose Room聽can accommodate up to 60 guests.
salal, snowberry, & honeysuckle
The Salal, Snowberry and Honeysuckle rooms are available to聽the UVic community and聽general public聽community groups.
The seating capacity聽is聽20 guests per room.聽Combined these rooms can accommodate 70 guests. These beautifully west coast inspired rooms can be separated by folding walls to create 3 individual rooms.
fireplace lounge
The Fireplace Lounge features vaulted ceilings, built in bar, fireplace, comfortable furniture and overlooks the Club鈥檚 private pond and surrounding forest.
This room has great character and is one of the most popular rental spaces in the Club.
camas room
The Camas Room is available for private lunches and is also our members鈥� evening dining room.
This casually elegant dining room has a corner fireplace, booth seating and individual tables that can be arranged in a board room configuration for meetings.
patio
Surrounded by tall forest, the Club鈥檚 pondside patio area provides a unique, natural setting for receptions, dinners, wedding ceremonies and other special occasions. The patio area has a capacity of 100 guests for receptions and 60 guests for dinner.
